Apple forgot us bigtime!

toebee is slightly enraged about the new software update that isn't. update: changed the title of this post, as it began to annoy me....

I never thought the day would come, but here it is: Apple fucked us up the ass big-time. They released their new iPod, which is cool. At the same day, they even release their iPod software-update, which is extremely professional and shows their commitment. But, upon downloading and installing this iPod update, terror struck:

New for Click Wheel iPods
o Shuffle songs with one click
o Create multiple On-The-Go playlists
o Delete songs from On-The-Go playlists
o Select reading playback speed for audiobooks
o Hear the clicker user interface sound through headphones
o Charge via USB 2.0 connection

Sound good? Weeeeell, read again :) It says 'New for Click Wheel iPods' on top. Which is the new model. That comes equipped with EXACTLY THAT SOFTWARE already. So, the update isn't really an update, because you can't use it on old iPods, and the new ones have it already. Yeah.

If you bought your iPod last week, you had bad luck. Me, I'm just mightily pissed off that I won't be able to toggle shuffle, or delete songs from my On-The-Go playlist. Which is a hardware-issue, some people at the apple forums think. Bullshit. Voice your own anger if you are on of the "old" iPod owners here:
